Sarcococca confusa is a compact, dense, evergreen shrub growing to around 1m. In autumn creamy-green buds appear which open to pure white sweetly scented flowers in late winter to early spring. Its leaves are glossy dark green. Prefers partial to full shade in fertile, moist but well drained soil.
